A bomb plot was being planned by a Pakistani-born man in Virginia and he was arrested on Wednesday. He was arrested for trying to bomb the metro system around Washington D.C. The man was going to use a rolling suitcase to care the bomb and try to kill as many people as he could. He wanted to also donate money to al-Qaiada. The FBI says that people were not in danger and that they knew about this man. The man thought that government workers were al-Qaiada operatives. The man was arrested and charged with multiple bomb and terrorist charges.
I think it is so good that the FBI caught on early to this. This could have been a really bad situation if the FBI did not catch on. Many people could have been killed. I think it is horrible that someone would want to kill people for no reason, People who did nothing to hurt him. I think it is good that we are watching out for terrorist and not ignoring it.

I think going into the metro, there should be more security so things like this do not happen. Like metal dectors that have people have to walk through or so on. So we don't have to worry about things like this happen.
ReplyDeleteI agree. We should be well prepared so when things like this happen, we can stop it. You never know what could have happened if they didn't learn of this and do something about.
ReplyDeleteI think that when someone goes to ride the metro they should have to pass through some security check. There's no way you can trust anyone anymore someone from our own country is trying to blow it up.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't imagine someone wanting to kill strangers. Innocent strangers at that. This man deserves a lot more than three meals a day and life under a roof, even if it is a prison. I won't get into all that though. Either way, i'm happy he didn't and now cannot hurt anyone.
